First off, I want to give a warm welcome to everyone who has decided to join Hardcore Zone's Elite as the place to have your guys a chance to shine. We are happy that you chose us for all your E-Fed needs. However, this is just the beginning, which is why you are reading this. Here are the basic rules and regulations that will be enforced here in HZE. After reading the rules, it is required to post a response of I Agree or I Disagree. This will show that you took the time to read and understand the rules that are presented here. Failure to comply with these rules will be met with notice by the Admins of this site. So, without further Adu...here are the rules!
Rule #1: Role Playing.
Rule #1: Role Playing.
When RPing, there are many things that need to be taken into consideration. Here are a list of things that help to make for a better promo:
A) Grammar: VERY important. Little things like proper capitalization and punctuations are a key element to a good promo. Sentence structure was created for a reason. For example, something like this is unacceptable:
"Character A takes a chair. lifts it up over his head, and drops it down on his head.He than looks down and lafs; "You cant beat me!" LOL"
So many things wrong with this sentence. THIS is how it should look:
"At that moment, Character A grabs a chair, lifts it over his head and drops it down on Character B with a hard blow to the skull. He then takes a look down and says: "You can't beat me!" He then laughs as he walks away.
THIS is acceptable for a good promo, if you cannot follow simple things like this, ask for help and we will assist you.
B) Courtesy: Be considerate for other peoples characters. If you are RPing with another person's character, make sure you try your best to maintain said characters personality. DO NOT BELITTLE OR MAKE THE OTHER PERSON'S CHARACTER APPEAR LESS DOMINANT. If you are speaking for another character, use the proper colors, type style (If possible), and so on. Refer to previous promos of said character to get an idea of how they speak. Attacks in promo's will be discussed later.
C) Spamming: Basically, if your character wins a match or title, there is no need to go to other peoples promo to brag. Speaking of which, if you are in a promo, there is no need to jump into another. Stay with what you have and run it from there. The end result will be two people demanding a match that might not work out that way. Pace yourself, RPing all over the place will not get you farther, it will just create more confusion.
Rule #2: Created Finishers.
Right now the rules is only ONE CAF per superstar. normal finishers are limited as well. Finishers are limited to 2 finishers per person, meaning 2 CAWS can have the same finishers, no more. Signatures do not have a limit so your good with that.
Rule #3: Attacking.
There are two types of attacks in HZE; Promo Attacks and Match Style Attacks.
Promo Attacks:
First and foremost, if you are going to attack someone in a promo, it is preferred that you make sure you have the Owner's permission for said attack to occur. If you choose to go ahead and provide the attack, ie; Instigate an attack without contacting the Owner, the promo will be left open to allow the 'victim' ONLY a chance to respond, and yes, the response can be them attacking back. That's the chance you take, deal with it . The grace period for the response will be 3-4 days MAX, once that passes, the promo is considered closed and no further actions will be allowed dealing with it.
Tied in with this is the 'meat' of the fight. If you provide the attack, you at least have to allow them to put up a fight. One sided attacks are just that...one sided and not fair to the other person. An example will be added into the Criticism area to show both types, and it recommended you check them out.
Match Style Attacks:
Match style attacks simply refer to attacks that happen during a show in which a match is used to simulate the attack. Match style attacks are the only match that can be one sided, just keep in mind that one sided-ness can rely heavily on your characters build, the character you are going up against, and how many people are involved. An attack in this style is also one of the few times the opposing person does not have to be contacted prior to. Keep in mind though, despite the seemingly endless amount of 'good' this style brings, there is a downfall and risk.
To initiate a Match Attack, you will need to contact the person simming the event with the following info:
Character X *your guy* wants to attack Character B *the opponent* at ___*specify show* and do so ___*specify place, ie; in ring, backstage, etc*, and would like it ___ *ie; at start of show, before X match, after X match, etc*.
Also, there isn't a need to stay locked in single, though you will need the permission of anyone doing the attack with you, ie;
Character X, Y, Z *the attackers must all send a tell saying they agree to help, cause lets face it, consequences suck* attack Character B 'or B+C+D, like I said, doesn't have to stay singular'.
What will then happen is the simmer will then include the attack in the show.
Now here is where it comes to the downfalls and risk. Along with the attack, there is the risk of injuries to the characters involved and there will also be consequences set forth against the attackers, and actions taken for the victims. This involves the following;
INJURIES:
First, each wrestler's body status is noted at the end of an attack. For each body part (head, torso, arms, legs) that is red at the end of the attack, each wrestler receives one Injury Point.
PUNISHMENT:
After a backstage attack, percentile dice (100 sides) are rolled, once for each attacker and once for each victim. The results will sometimes affect the wrestlers' Injury Points. ALL CONSEQUENCES ARE CUMULATIVE. Then, the results are compared to the tables below to determine the consequences and effects of the attack:
Victim:
1-5.........The Victim's injuries are shallow; lose all Injury Points.
6-15.......The doctor says the Victim is doing better than expected. Subtract 1 Injury Point.
16-35.....A friend/enemy of the Attacker comes by and together, they drag the Attacker to the ring for a 2-on-1 beatdown in front of the fans! The Attacker gains whatever Injury Points come from this match as well, and the Victim loses 1 Injury Point.
35-50.....No change.
51-65.....The Victim goes insane and berzerkers all over the Attacker! Both wrestlers gain 1 Injury Point as the Victim rampages.
66-80.....Both wrestlers lose 1 Injury Point as security breaks up the fight, and both are booked in a TLC match or Backstage Brawl at the very next event and their injuries there added to their injuries from this attack before consequences become active.
81-95.....The Victim is hurt seriously and gains 1 Injury Point.
96-100...The Victim is critically injured and gains 2 Injury Points. Their Attacker gains 15 points to their Consequence Roll.
Attacker:
1-5.........The Attacker(s) receive no punishment. Their injuries are superficial; subtract 1 Injury Point from each Attacker.
6-15.......The Attacker(s) receive no punishment.
16-35.....The Attacker(s) are suspended from one show.
35-50.....The Attacker(s) are suspended from 2 shows.
51-65.....As the Attacker(s) turn their back to leave, the Victim gets up, picks up a nearby length of lead pipe and nails them! Add 1 Injury Point to each Attacker.
66-80.....The Attacker(s) are placed in a 2-on-1 handicap match at the next episode of the show on which the original attack occurred.
81-95.....The Attacker(s) are placed in a 3-on-1 handicap match at the next show of the same brand. Don't be a bitch then! lol
96-100...Tables turned! The Victim loses all Injury Points as an ally/enemy of the Attacker comes by and attacks the Attacker with no penalities!
Finally, the resulting Injury Points are tabulated to determine a wrestler's Injuries:
INJURIES
1 Point- Wrestler is injured, but okay. Any other backstage attacks at this show or the next will add 1 to this wrestler's Injury Points, but if there are no other attacks, no injuries occur.
2 Points- The Wrestler is injured enough to miss 1 show.
3 Points- The Wrestler must miss 2 shows due to injury.
4 Points and up- The wrestler must miss 3 shows due to injury.
Now, if either of the wrestlers are injured enough to miss one or more shows, and they have not had their match for the night, they will not participate in that nights match, and it will clear off one missed show for them.
As for limitations; Promo Attacks are limited by the people involved, but it is preferred not every promo you do be one attacking someone. If it becomes an issue, it will be addressed and amended here.
As for Match Attacks, you are allowed ONE attack per show. Keep in mind though, due to injuries/consequences, repeated attacks could see your wrestler out of action for extended periods of time, and also, while injured/suspended, said wrestler will still be required to promo, but will not be allowed to do any attacks until said time is expired.
Rule #4: Title contenders.
Now, it doesn't make a difference who you are, Title shots are given to the deserving. Who is deserving you may ask? Well, if you give me a minute I will tell you. No need to be pushy about it! Here is how it goes. Number one contenders will be considered by way of matches and rankings. Each week a tally of matches won/loss plus a percentage will be made and posted every Saturday. This way you can keep track of how well your guys are doing....or how much they suck. Either way, every week unless otherwise mentioned to you, every Saturday on the dot your rankings will be posted. Oh, and if you see your guy has 2 wins and 15 losses and you REALLY want to make me laugh, ask for a title shot. The only way a low rank superstar will get a shot is by way of tournament.
Also, Rankings will NOT be the only aspect taken into account when considering who deserves a shot at any given title. Activity within the fed, promo quality, and just general attitude will also be major factors. Just cause your guy is 20-0 doesn't mean he's got a guaranteed World shot if you're attitude is one of 'I'm teh 1337z0rz, g1v3s m3 t1tlzz n0wzz!!!1!' or if your promos are substantially sub-par.
Rule #5: Tardiness.
(Takes a deep breath and exhales) Here is the thing. I understand that Real life take dominance over everything else, this much is accepted. However, the best thing to do is let me or one of the other admins know if you are not able to post. Now, you are not required to go into specifics because your personal life is just that...personal. Just let us know how long you will not be able to post for. Now, if for some reason you have no access to the internet (Which I am sure you have visited a McDonald's from time to time unless you don't have a laptop) Try your best to either send a quick PM or Email me, (However, if you have 5 minuted to email, you should be able to promo, even if its just one line, but that's just me). This way you will not be penalized for tardiness. Why would you be penalized you ask? Inquisitive aren't we? Well, the reason being is that the admins will be monitoring who posts and when. You are required to post at LEAST once PER CHARACTER. If you have two characters, you are to post two separate posts for each character. There obviously no maximum for posting so go nuts!
Rule #6: Be Mature.
This rule is basically as follows: Language=Don't really give a fuck! Subject matter is another thing. Feel free to mention whatever you like, however certain subjects WILL NOT be tolerated. Since we are all adults here, these are the subjects that will not be included in HZE, failure to comply will lead to automatic banning from the fed. Anything including Racism against someone (In character or out) by way of race, gender or sexual orientation will lead to automatic dismissal. If it is done in a manner where it is more of a joke or just making fun, then its OK, the moment it get to where it is a harsh statement, then you will be notified. So if you say something along these lines and try to log in the next day and you can't, that just means your account was deleted.
Rule #7: Factions
Here is the take on factions. Yes they will be allowed, HOWEVER, there will be a limit to the amount of factions. Factions include 2 or 3 owner involved in group activity. Limit to 3 factions. Also Factions can consist of 3 (If all have 3 different owners) or 4. NO MORE THAN THAT. We do not need the fed split in 2 different factions, it can get boring real fact and kills potential new feuds. 5 to 6 will be acceptable if and when a Woman's division is initiated.
Rule #8: Characters
Ok. Dark Characters are acceptable but there is a limit. I know that people like myself have twisted, disturbing minds, but we have to have some sort of limit. This is not a "Dark Fed". This place will have variety. Also, if you currently have a character in AWF, then that character is not allowed in HZE. Why have feds with the same guys over and over? This way, there is someone new who can bring something different to the table. If you only have one guy who is in numerous feds, there really isn't a reason to have another. Again, Variety is gold in HZE. Oh, and if your character does the "Disappear when the lights go out" bit, keep it to a minimum. Overkill will cause you to not have that ability. Also, there are no super heavyweights allowed in HZE. It makes things one sided and unfair. As far as stats go, since I have the PS3, I will be using the MAXCAS code while will give everyone an overall of 90, so that way everyone will have even stats (Again...fairness, isn't it lovely?) Now, on to the "Heel/Face" Situation. While I am all for bad guys, I must say there needs to be a identification point with the superstars. So we will have a limit to each. Considering that in the PS3, there is only a 30 superstar Capacity, we will start it off like this: When you post a formula and promo, if you do manage to get in, Identify your character as Heel/Face/Neutral. The limit is 10 of each (Which will equal 30...yay for math!) Now of course later on if you want to change this you are more than welcome to. Of course, if it begins to show that there are more heels than face, an issue of notice will be sent to everyone. Now this is not to say the roster will STAY at 30, but for now, until things get moving, 30 will be the maximum amount of superstars allowed. Also, custom music is strongly encouraged. I would prefer original music as opposed to in game music. I mean its just that much more fun! As far as limits.....the rules is 2 superstars per person, no more unless you are an admin, which are allowed 3. Of course, this will mainly be to fill the roster if needed(at least in my case) so more spots will be filled up.
Rule #9: Terms of release.
Lets say you log on and you see that your character has not been on any show for a bit and you see a little post says: "HZE has comes to terms with the release of (Your character here)." and wonder how is that so. Well, let me tell you. In order to maintain status with HZE, you must promo at LEAST once a week. Failure to promo will result in a warning from any one of the Admins. A Second week of promos will lead to suspension of one show. Third week will be a suspension of Title opportunity for a month,(So if you are in the middle of a title feud and fail to promo,....sorry) Fourth week will be Dismissal. Now don't think that if you miss 2 weeks of promos, jump back in to promos and miss 2 weeks after and think its ok....Uhhh yea...wrong! There is an 8 Week Grace Period for promos if you have been suspended. If you keep promoing for 8 weeks, then the count will reset to Zero. If not, you continue where you left off. Of course if a situation occurs that will cause you to NOT promo, you need to contact an Admin and let them know. Real life situations take dominance over everything else. You are not obligated to divulge your personal life because it's just that...personal. Just let us know when and how long you will be gone for and we will accommodate you accordingly.Of course, if you are in fact suspended, that does not mean that you cannot come back at a later time. There will be a grace period of 6 Months before you are allowed to re-register again with HZE, but only if ALL admins agree to the situation. If you need time for personal reasons, then you may feel free to come back when you are ready to do so.
Rule # 10: Match Types & Shows
HZE's weekly show is Monday Night Malice. Obviously, it will be held every Monday night. In keeping with the Hardcore atmosphere, all Malice matches will be contested under No Rope Break or Count Out Rules. Included with this, to keep it interesting, Match types for the weekly show will consist solely of the following:
Ladder
Cage
Tables
Tag Team
Hardcore/Extreme Rules
Singles
Handicap
Aside from Malice, HZE will hold Pay Per Views bi-monthly. While certain PPV's will have an accompanying theme, they will also open up the allowance of any match type to be used. HZE's major shows are as follows;

I know these rules may seem like a lot to follow, but in the long run, it will make for a better product. After reading the rules, post a reply stating that you have read and understand the rules and regulations.
And again,
Welcome to Hardcore Zone's Elite, Welcome to the fold...
